BUSTER KEATON

Picture
Buster Keaton (born Joseph Frank Keaton) was an actor and filmmaker who was best known for his comedic silent films. Buster was known for performing physical comedy while consistently keeping his face free of emotion or expression. Because of this trademark, he was eventually given the nickname "The Great Stone Face".
Thanks to the 1920 comedy film, "The Saphead", in which Keaton had the starring role, his career was launched. He soon received his own production unit by the name of Buster Keaton Comedies and went on to make a series of two-reel comedies, eventually moving on to full-length features.
